Personal FAQ

Frequently Asked (Personal) Questions
The questions that are most oft asked of me…

  1. Why did you start a blog/ web site?
    Read this.
  2. How old are you?
My birth date- February 3, 1982.
  3. Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mt. Airy (Uptown!) to be exact. I now live in Miami, Florida.
  4. Are you really that full of yourself and conceited that you would make an entire website dedicated to yourself???
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Well, what should I do- make a site dedicated to someone else? The person/ people that ask this question probably spend an upwards of 40 hours a week promoting someone else’s vision, and then try to find a few spare hours to squeeze in some time working on their own. The best brand one can invest in is oneself.
  5. Do you have a girlfriend?
    Yes, and she’s pretty, too.
  6. Do you have brothers or sisters?
    I have only 1 sister.
  7. How do I get a DreAllDay.com shirt?
    Go HERE!!
  8. What are you doing, right now, at this exact moment?
    Find that answer here.
  9. What do you like to do, besides basketball and working out?
    Reading
, writing, Internet surfing, listening to music, hanging with (girl) friend(s), soaking up the Florida sun (when applicable).
  10. What did you study in school?
At Penn State Altoona, I majored, officially, in business administration, with a focus in management and marketing. If you look at the framed diploma in my parents’ living room, that’s what it says. More realistically, in college I majored in playing basketball and general socializing. I knew when I began college that I would be playing pro basketball; almost all of my best friends are people I met in college; and I often get nostalgic about the fun and good times of yesteryear.
  11. How do you feel about Penn State, overall?
Penn State is a great institution, that you would be a great place at which to spend four (or more) years of your life. Beautiful campuses, top-notch facilities, a group/ team/ activity for whatever you are into, and plenty of social, um, opportunities.
  12. Who is the person you look(ed) up to the most?
I look up to me. My parents were great role models and I turned out great as an adult, if I may say so myself. And as far as looking to an individual for inspiration, looking to myself seems to work best.
  13. Who are your favorite musical artists?
I like a lot of music. My favorite genre is hip hop/ rap, with R&B a distant second and then everything else claiming a small percentage. My top artists: 50 Cent, Jay-Z, T.I., R. Kelly, Kanye West, and Diddy.
  14. What would you do if you didn’t play basketball?
Maybe play football. Or be a writer. Or be involved in the music industry. Or an actor. Something that would have a lot of people knowing who I am.
  15. What will you do after basketball?
Basketball ENDS??? Hmmm… Perhaps I will go into training young players. Maybe writing. Start and run some businesses.
  16. What are you guilty pleasures/ vices?
Eating candy, and lots of it. And some other things that even on my own website, I don’t feel at liberty to speak of.
  17. What’s with all the shirtless pics?
I’ll put on a shirt of you’re uncomfortable. Man is born naked and dies naked (save for the suit at the funeral). Didn’t you notice that Adam and Eve’s downfall began when they became embarrassed of their nakedness and hastily covered up?
  18. Are you as friendly and gregarious in person as you seem on the Internet?
With the right type of people, yes. On average, no. Personal (i.e., alone) time and space are very important to me. I think I woulda been great at a sport like tennis.
  19. Do you feel that you use the Internet too much?
    No.

What basketball team do you play for right now?

  12. What’s your take on sportphsychology are you in to it? I thaught I would share this with you: What better my game the most with the least amount of effort was a book called the mental edge you probably get it at amazon. Just by reading it, and I am not kiding you, I improved my FT shooting in doubledigits, my decision making and thus my assist/turnover ratios and fg percentage, basically everything. It is all mental, so check out this or any similar book on sport phsychology.

I read the book during injury, as I wanted to improve my game during the time off, I first heard about how sports physchology could improve your game after reading two Iverson biographies, in which it was mentioned that Iverson was introduced to certain mental techniques to improve his game already during HS, by his HS coach.

if it is really true that you eat lots of candy then your muscle definition should be worse or you couldnt have any definitions. but even your abs are amazingly visible. either you re on steroids (thinking eating candy and low body fat percentage at the same time) or you re a liar lol

  30. looking at some of your pics, it looks like you’ve done some modeling and modeling can lead to acting. so why not go for acting when your not playing basketball? it could be something you enjoy and the money comes in too. i’m not saying use it as your backup plan, but why not do both? just another perspective, sorry if i bothered you!
