Hi, Dre! I’m 15, 5’9 and I can only touch the backboard. I see, that I progress really fast! But sometimes my back hurts from even running. Then I take like a day or two to recover from pain. I don’t know what is going on with all the pain. I love your videos, man! Hope you’ll get to the NBA!
Best wishes,
Skomantas
Thanks. That is not my area of knowledge either.
I’m 21 Dre there is a chance that i can improve my hops??
Why wouldn’t there be
Thanks man. Dunking efficiently now. Next payday im getting your hoop handbooks
Good to hear man congrats
Are you going to get into the NBA?
I am working on that right now. See the #SignDreBaldwin page
Will this manual work for young kids like 12 year olds? and do you need any weights or items for the jumping manual?
Manuals dont work, people work. And all questions about JM are answered on their site
Im 15 if I do the jumping program using a weight vest will that benefit me more or will it stunt my growth and would squatting stunt my growth at this age or am I fine
Next kid whose growth is stunted from exercising will be the first I have known of.
thanks 4 the help and may god be with u {BALLISLIFE}
You’re welcome!
Dre i have a question on the jump Manuel. I was wondering if it was an actual workout program or just some tips and pointers
Click the link and read the information, kid. That’s why it’s there
Dre, maybe you remember me from Facebook. I asked about the effectiveness of AA3 and you told me to stop whining because I was on week 7. I continued with the program, but I suffered back injury (myalgia). Even then I was trying to do the workout, but I was feeling more and more pain after every rep. So now the doctor told me that I can’t go to trainings or play basketball for 2 weeks and need to take 6 kinds of medications
. So now I’m watching your ball handling videos and I do then every day for about 4 hours. I see a big difference in my ball handling ( 300% ) in just about 3 weeks of doing them and I will continue doing them, but I really need that vertical. I don’t want to risk another injury so I’ll stop doing AA3, but now I want to combine some of the workouts from AA3 that I think are helping me ( leap ups, thrust ups and calf raises ) with uphill bicycle riding and weight trainings at home ( leg extensions, squats and things like that ). I will start doing this kinda exercises because I asked one guy who plays for KK Kumanovo ( team from my town that play in the Macedonian League ). He is from USA and have massive vertical, so I asked him how he got his vertical and he told me that when he was a kid, he was doing a lot of calf raises, backboard taps, leg extensions and squats. So can you tell me some kinda exercises or stretching from the Jump Manual I can combine with my exercises to really help me increase my vertical ? I have 5 months to work on my game and you can’t imagine how much I’m willing to workout because I really love when I’m in pain or too tired of good workout. I can’t afford to buy the Jump Manual because my it cost like 30% of my dads earnings in a month and my mom is unemployed. I made a promise to my mom that next year around this time I will be in the national team for my country because I know how much I’m willing to give in order to achieve my goal.
Sorry for writing a text this big, but that’s my habit..
Wassup,
Sorry to hear about your injury. If you want exercises from the Jump Manual u would need to get the program. If you cannot afford to pay for something u also cannot afford to ask for it for free — seeking handouts is not a strategy for any area of life whether bball or not. And if you are gonna do all of that training then u might as well finish Air Alert. If choose to do your own thing and make up your own program, you are responsible for making it and for whatever results, good or bad. The player you asked who jumps high does not have the same body and/or circumstances as you — thats like me doing LeBron James’ training program. You training has to fit who and where you are — he’s a professional and much older than you. As I told you before, as long as you continue to seek shortcuts you will have problems, as you can see for yourself. There are no shortcuts here. Good luck
I know that I can’t afford to ask it for free, but I wasn’t asking you for the whole program, I was asking for 1-2 exercises that you think help most because I don’t want to do some exercises that won’t improve my vertical. You are totally right when you say that some exercises that suit you, won’t suit me and I know that so when my back heals I will do more exercises for 1 week and I will choose to do the ones that I think are best from me. I’m not like those guys who always want easy way out… I said it once and I’ll say it again, I love when I’m tired of hard work because that separates me from others. Anyway, I really appreciate that you answered me my question
67 dollars is a whole lot of money for a 15 year old kid with no job :/
Then get a job and stop whining. If you’re old enough to complain you can ask for an application.
Dre. Just an Half Inch then I can tip the rim. I’m Filipino. I Wanna Dunk Dre. Any Tips for jumping higfher?
Follow the instructions here: http://dreallday.com/jumphigher
Im about 5’7 and can touch the back board what is my vertical? Thank you!
You’re 5’7″ and touching the backboard, kid. No one cares about your vertical. Develop your game and be a player; how high you jump will not be a factor in any games.
Do I have to use weights in order to get my body strong enough to dunk?
Weights make people stronger, but not necessarily required to dunk. Get Jump Manual and use them as prescribed by the program, Jacob will walk you through it.
I’m 5’6 & I can grab rim I want to go higher
Then you know what to do. It’s right here on the page.
dre i can touch the backboard now, thanks!
Excellent! You’re welcome
