Have you ever had high expectations that were not met?

Maybe someone else did not hold up his end of the deal. Maybe you didn’t deliver at the level you thought you could. Maybe it was cloudy when you expected a sunny day. Maybe all of these happened at the same time. Every time. For two years straight.

Do you still have high expectations, despite this disappointment? Did you quit in expecting great things after so many times not getting what you thought you would?

In this episode, I’ll show you why great expectations are a requirement for great achievement.

When have you unconsciously limited your expectations and saw your outcomes suffer as a result?

  1. This is a key to success, put this in your car as fuel. GREAT EXPECTATIONS. I’ve heard a lot of people say the phrase mentioned in point number 2, the phrase that will now go unsaid and it makes sense now why I haven’t achieved the things I’ve set out to achieve.

It was like light bulbs going off in my head. Expectations are what lead to action, I always thought it was laziness on my part, and to be fair it could’ve been that to. Yet my expectations are too low despite my BIG ambitions.

Need to purge low expectations from my system, aim higher. I know it won’t happen over night but it’s great to know. Maybe expectations are the brakes and accelerator to the car. Low expectations are the brakes, High expectations the accelerator.

Thanks Dre, this one blew my mind.

    • Good stuff! glad this helped you change your mindset about where you’re going and how you see yourself/life.
