#195: My Virtual Mentors, Pt. 1: Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs [WOYG Podcast]

Scroll this

Being a CEO. Leveraging and managing the talent around you. Not having to be the guy doing all the work yourself. Sean Combs was the first guy to set the example for doing this.

Diddy never came out and said it. But his example inspired me in many ways. I’m not a rapper, fashion designer, or music producer. But many things Puff does translates to the things I do.

Today’s show tells you how Puff’s example moved me to action in many ways.

  1. An interesting episode. The mentors behind the mentor. You learn from someone, we learn from you so we also get to learn from all your inspirations.

What I’ve found with mentors is you’ve got to find someone who resonates with you. Two people saying the same thing one you listen to the other you just don’t hear, even though they said the same thing.

Looking forward to more of these Dre.
