#214: I’m The Best – But, I’m Not The Best [WOYG Podcast]

Scroll this

When you step on stage, on the court, or pick up the phone, you are THE BEST who has ever done it. Period. This is the prevailing mindset you need to carry with you for the entirety of any performance.

Once the performance is over, though, and you have a chance to reflect, tweak, adjust, and get back to work, it’s humility – a lower opinion of yourself – that you need. Knowing you’re not the best is what gets you out of bed on the days you don’t feel like it. Knowing you have a long way to go is what drives you to make those last 3 calls or shoot those last 25 jumpers.

Learn today how to develop both mindsets and how they will work for you.

  1. Your confidence building is the best out there, think it’s because you get us to focus from the inside out. Outer confidence can work, but only for a short while, you always find yourself going back to where you were.

When you work on yourself it’s a natural by product. Same with I’m the best, you drill it in to yourself over and over until it becomes who you are. The BE.

Everything comes down to confidence. Your self belief. That can do attitude.

If you keep feeding your mind quality thoughts, inspiration, greatness it really does sink in. Take notes, go over your notes, watch, listen, read over and over.

Everyday I’m getting better, everyday I’m improving. Everyday you can feel it more. Priceless information. Sure you can put a price on it but when you work out your return it’s priceless.

    Always appreciated Dre.
