  1. I held off on posting on this topic to let it sink in. My thoughts are that personal power is about taking responsibility. Responsibility for who you are, knowing yourself. Knowing your purpose and not letting anything come between you and what you want.

It’s about knowing your strengths and weaknesses and figuring out how to get to where you want to be while playing to your strengths and acknowledging your weaknesses. You might be able to improve your weaknesses but if you play to your strengths you’ll come out stronger.

Knowing who you are and doing the things that you want to do are the bottom line. Not giving in when people say you can’t do something. It always is key to know what you want. Not giving away your power to others, I find this can happen if you haven’t accepted responsibility for your life, just drifting. Sometimes it can happen subtly and you find yourself living a life that you didn’t really want.

This one’s thought provoking. Appreciate the content Dre.

  2. Good topic. But I`m not agree with some positions. There are people, who are not very talented in something(naturally bad) -- but they like this something and work hard there, finally get results(sometimes good results). There is the opposite -- talented person(naturally good) -- can be lazy(just example) and don`t get results as good as he naturally(mentally also) built for. In my personal opinion -- a human can get results if he works hard, have understanding and related to his/her activities. Nowadays -- disposal persons get results in sport -- before it was impossible.

    • “Results” must be quantified to complete your argument; what you say is vague and could encompass any level of achievement, depending on who the observer is.
And what a person is built for, i.e. the level of success he “should” have based on his talent, is not a measurable thing.

      Please clarify!

      • Person`s talent (one or several) is something he/her good at actually (broached in audio).

To make it clear -- In my personal life I`ve met sport people (not basketball), who was not physically/mentally good for sport -- for long didnt show results (digging, working). After sometime (long time) -- they changed for good -- they changed something in their digging. Now playing. Just my experience. They made experience from mistakes(understood it). Of course without understanding(captain course from ur audio) hard work will become just digging. As You say -- Red light is not a reason to stop. Person should just understand what he/her really wants. ))
