There will always be people who are better than you. They have been doing it longer, better and are more recognized than you – you would be smart to learn from them! The challenge is, these people may not be so available to you all the time to answer your questions, hand out advice, or coach you through your next move.

Today’s show explains how you can start soaking up value from people who have the knowledge and skills and experience you need.

  1. Loved those high quality questions to ask yourself. Have them written down. Will be going over those notes. There’s an old saying that we have two ears and one mouth for a reason, so we can listen twice as much as we speak.

An important point is that we should never stop learning and improving. It’s interesting to observe that those who stay at the top continue learning and improving on what they already do. You can see it in interviews with successful people. That might also explain those who make it but don’t stay at the top, those who just fade away. Unless that was their goal, they hit it and never set another goal. That’s a lesson I learned, once you achieve a goal you need to set another one and keep going, otherwise it fades.
