Power is an important term. Many people have been giving theirs away and not even knowing it. Today I’m going to help you start consolidating yours.
As soon as you get control over your power within you, you can start looking outward. This will lead you towards leadership, bossing up, and being a stronger communicator. All good skills to have.
But first let’s get clear on #1: You.

Interesting points Dre. Look for the intersection between what you know and what you care about. Becomes the unique selling point for what you’re doing. Equals the reason you’re doing what you’re doing.
I’m currently writing a romance story that has elements of superheros, fantasy and gangsters and is a mesh of live action and illustration work. Find this all spills out from my background, a love of the Super Hero Genre, Gangster Genre and Star Wars.
Can’t hide your influences so you should just put them front and center. The live action/Illustration crossover comes from Mary Poppins, the first film I remember watching and a love for animation and live action films. Love the whole creating worlds, creating moments.
Best of success is finishing and getting your story out there Colin!
