The Spring of my freshman year of college, after basketball season had ended, a guy whose name I forget urged me to stop wasting time in pickup games against scrubs and start lifting weights.
Once I started to see changes in my body — and changes in how the girls looked at me — I never broke my bond with the weight room (while still hooping a lot).
Today’s show is about strength, whether the bench pressing, plank-holding kind, or the Mental, perseverance and persistence kind.
