#51: Honoring What Brought You Here [WOYG Podcast]

May 25, 2016 #51: Honoring What Brought You Here [WOYG Podcast]

In Eastern cultures, the elderly are honored: They live in the homes of their children or other younger, more able-bodied relatives, and are cherished for their knowledge, experience and wisdom on life. Eastern cultures keep the elderly around out of honor and respect.
Western cultures? We build nursing homes, retirement communities, and hire nannies to help change their diapers. We don’t honor what brought us here in any way close to how they do in the East.
In this show, Dre Baldwin talks about how we can start honoring what brought us here: the skills, ideas, energies and actions that we had when at our best. Do you feel you may have gotten away from that? Then you’re at the right place.
