“I know what I can do, Dre — and it’s frustrating me when I’m not doing it.”
“I know… I just need to do it.”
“I knew before I even asked you what you would say: ‘Just get it done!’ Thanks for the talking-to.”
I know a lot of highly-skilled people. People who know their work and do their work maybe even better than I do mine.
Who I know very few of, though, are people who have the discipline to push themselves to do their work to the best of their ability on a consistent enough basis to see those seeds sprout into rewards.
You can learn to do anything today, and it will cost you very little money to get the information. Put the time in, and you’ll have the skills. But how often, and how fully, are you able to show those skills? Does everyone know how good you are, or is it a secret?
Today’s show is about making it known — and keeping it that way.
