We succeed is direct proportion to our ability to sell. And all of us want to sell — we want jobs, customers, followed, agreement, cooperation. To get any of these, we have to sell.
So why do so many of use have such a problem with selling?
From what I hear, it’s reluctance to make our offer: here’s what it costs. This is what I need from you. Here’s my stance; I want you on-board with me. It’s not saying the words that’s the problem. The issue is that sales is a persuasion game. And that entails, maybe, changing someone’s mind. And for many people, that’s an uncomfortable prospect.
