Book Review: A Whole New Mind

July 24, 2009

This is a review from my Favorite Books list; the link from which will be also on the Books Page.

“Abundance, Asia and Automation.”

Whole New Mind discusses what the prevailing skills will be for business success as we move forward as a people.Computers will replace once human-held jobs, the relative cost effectiveness of Asian workers will displace American workers, and the availability of information at anyone’s fingertips will render once-thought “smart” people obsolete. A really good book for someone entering the college years or thinking of changing careers. I was doing neither, however, when I read it and still found it fascinating.
