Book Review: Competitive Fire

July 19, 2009

This is a review from my Favorite Books list; the link from which will be also on the Books Page.

“How dare opponents try to guard me…”

I’m one thousand percent sure that the mental side of professional sports is worth more than the physical side of the game; I bought this book to find out how and why. Michael Clarkson goes into detail of what it is inside of the sports greats, past and present, that drives them to be their best mentally. The book centers around the oft-told competitive fire of Michael Jordan and mentions every great athlete in every sport at some point in the book.
