Book Review: Drive

March 15, 2011

This is a review from my Favorite Books list; the link from which will be also on the Books Page.

“Our current operating system has become far less compatible with, and at times downright antagonistic to: how we organize what we do; how we think about what we do; and how we do what we do.”

Daniel Pink wrote another book which I read a few years ago and loved. Drive is a book about what motivates humans — what most of us think works as motivation, at least — and what science shows really motivates man.

There is so much good, insightful conversationin this book (and all the others I read), I’m only lessening its effect by trying to summarize it. But as a wise person once said, you wanna hide something from people, put it in a book.
