Book Review: The 48 Laws of Power

July 18, 2009 Book Review: The 48 Laws of Power

This is a review from my Favorite Books list; the link from which will be also on the Books Page.

“No Days unalert.”

My absolute favorite book from my post-18 years. This one is defeintely Robert Greene’s masterpiece (he’s also written The Art of Seduction and The 33 Strategies of War– which also made my list) and has been name-dropped by lots of celebs and entertainers over the yers, exponentially increasing its popularity.

48 Laws is written somewhat in list format: 48 chapters with a deep explanation and historical examples within each chapter. Even being hundreds of pages long, this book, for me, was very hard to put down each night. I still to this day go and re-read chapters of 48 Laws every week. As a matter of fact, the book is sitting on my living room coffee table at this exact moment; not for guests to look through, though — for me.
