Alabama has been the much-agreed-upon Best College Football Team for many years, behind the leadership of head coach Nick Saban. In addition to, you know, winning, Saban is known for the rigorous discipline he imposes on his program and his super-detailed approach to his work and the work of everyone involved with the football program.
‘Bama opened their season last Saturday with a 51-14 stomping of Louisville. With his team up 34-0 in the third quarter, an Alabama player received a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, and penalty that precipitated Louisville scoring for the first time in the game.
To say the least, Saban was not a fan of his own player’s actions.
