I do the same things the same way every day.
Waking up at the same time.
My exercise schedule.
Taking walks.
Sitting at my desk and working.
Conceptualizing, creating and publishing content.
It works for me because it fits my mental wiring. I get into a groove doing the same things the same way over and over… and over again. It’s the key to how I’ve done what I’ve done professionally.
But for you, my way might sound like torture.
You may prefer variety. Going to different places, trying different foods, seeing different people. You might need a healthy dose of randomness in your life. To you, people like me are human robots, devoid of emotion or the need for change.
Well, you’d be right: I am a robot.
I can teach consistency of effort because I know how to be a robot. But if you can’t be that way, all is NOT lost for you when it comes to discipline.
