No idea is original.
Someone had it before you had it. If you don’t do something with it (or if not enough people know what you do with it), someone else will have it after you.
So, how do you make yourself unique when you’re not the first motivational speaker / life coach / author / musician / youth leader / business podcaster?

Notice that I didn’t say your personality. People can fake personality. Look at one of those social networking apps on your phone.
Your experience can’t be faked.
You can’t pretend to have been a school teacher for 12 years if you weren’t.
You wouldn’t speak the lingo of having owned and sold 3 businesses if you never actually did so.
If someone has never signed a recording contract that they later regretted, someone who did would see right through the imposter in 30 seconds.
Your personal experience — and not just what you experienced, but HOW you experienced it — is the uncopyable aspect of your expertise that is truly proprietary.
(Disclaimer: you can’t delegate this either, though. You can train people to teach your frameworks; only you can tell your story.)
How to put this into action: you have to actually HAVE a story to tell.
You have to have actually, you know, done things.
Get active. Go outside. Say YES to life.
