How To Tell How Well You Pay Attention In Conversation - Dre BaldwinSay you have a 30-60 minute conversation with another person. If you’re paying attention (and not talking too much) you should be able to write a 3-4 page report on that person.

Whatever the topic was — their life in general, their kids, the business they just started.

(Remember that as fast as we speak words, 5 minutes of transcribed verbal dialogue would fill up several pages — 3-4 pages wouldn’t be hard.)

Learning is infinitely valuable. That’s where new skills come from. The more we learn, the more new ideas we have, those ideas lead to action, and eventually a success. Learning can come at a high cost — ask any college student, or their parents — but people and conversation is a great source of information, if you’re tuned in.
