You may have heard the story of the Minister and the Gardener.

A church minister was traveling the world and preaching the word of God when he happened upon a home with a beautiful garden. The minister knocked on the door of the home, and let the gardener know how much God was responsible for the beauty of the garden.

You’re right, the gardener agreed. The seeds, soil, rainwater and sun are all necessary components of making this happen.

BUT, the gardener countered, you should’ve seen this place back when God had it all to himself!

Intention is great, and setting our goals for what we want is a requirement of achievement. Remember that action and initiative are like the gardener who turns seeds and soil into beds of flowers and green grass.
