I use apps and lists to plan out my days so I know what I need to do each day. These lists used to bother me and cause more stress than they were meant to alleviate.
The main reason was because there was never a point when there was literally nothing to do. There’s always something I could be doing. Write something. Edit a video. Read a book or article. Make a phone call.
What I started doing, off the advice of a friend, was to begin choosing one (maybe two, at the most) thing each day to get done. Doing that one thing would make the day successful.
Now the list is cleaner and clearer. And so is my mind.
