Kevin Garnett Rajon Rondo post game press conference

Check It Out

… and owners should remain quiet. The atlanta Hawks new owner, trying to talk his club up before yesterday’s game 6 I guess:

“On top of all that, we don’t get any calls, which I know everybody always hears. But I’ll give you a stat. Last night, we are playing this old physical team. They are old. I know what happens when you play basketball, old guys foul. [Kevin] Garnett is the dirtiest guy in the league. We are playing Boston last night and they had two fouls the whole first half. We had five times that and we’re athletic.”

The video above is KG firing back in the post game press conference.

Why the Hawks owner was speaking on the series at all is incredulous — the Hawks are not a serious enough contender to have anyone in the organization, let alone the owner, providing bulletin board material before an elimination game. The Hawks blew their home court advantage when they lost game 2 at home. They put themselves in the position they were in Thursday night — backs to the wall and on the road.

And KG spelled out the rest. Post Moves Hoop Handbook
