You are never stuck, in ANY situation, unless you decide that you are.
That’s quoted from Russell Simmons, whose book I just finished reading recently. No matter if your situation is mental, physical, or emotional, you are never caught there against your will.
Mental: Music, books, a walk in the park, a conversation with a friend… all good ways to get your mind out of a rut.
Physical: Go somewhere new. Do something you always do, but in a different way (try the opposite way).
Emotional: Keep a list of the things that make you feel good (or motivated or excited…). Refer to it when you need to. While you’re feeling good, get these things together while you’re thinking about it. Have them ready for when you need it. Add to it whenever something speaks to you. It will come in handy.
