The Go-Giver by Bob Burg (@BobBurg) and John David Mann (@JohnDavidMann) [Book Review]

April 28, 2017 The Go-Giver by Bob Burg (@BobBurg) and John David Mann (@JohnDavidMann) [Book Review]

“… Most people just laugh when they hear that the secret to success is giving. Then again, most people are nowhere near as successful as they wish they were.”

I’ve been giving,  a lot, for a long time. Sometimes I’ve wondered if I’m giving too much and should hold something back.

Then I heard a wise man say, “Dre, give so much that you think you’re giving too much.” And it made sense to me. Then I heard of The Go-Giver, and without even reading the book, knew it was for me.

This book is one of the best I’ve ever read. Finished it in less than 24 hours.

The book is a parable, a story of a consulting salesperson who was under pressure to land a big contract by the end of the week. Out Of options, he takes a shot in the dark to cold call a very successful guy who he’s never met to ask for help on closing the deal.  What he gets instead is a life-changing set of principles that are the basis of success for any human.
You Should Read The Go-Giver IF: your life plan includes massive success. You believe in karma. You want to receive as well as give abundantly. If you can read this, READ The Go-Giver.
