A person will come to me asking about something that I’ve done, which they want to do. I make some suggestions of actions that this person could take, right now, to get headed in the right direction.
“Yeah, I’ve thought of that.”
And?
Thinking of things doesn’t get them done. Thinking of things is not an acceptable substitute for action. Listen, everybody can think about doing things. To achieve, you have to do things. Yes — doing things probably starts with a thought. But when the action has taken place, your thoughts need not be publicized.
